Ciao, welcome to my page! 

I am a Researcher at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Institute of Economics, working on the SCI-PET (Socioeconomic and Climate Inequality: emissions, impacts and perceptions to design Policy for an Equitable Transition) FIS project. I am also a member of the FIND (Finance and Innovation to couple Negative Emissions and Sustainable Development) ERC project. 

I hold my PhD in Economics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in May 2026, my Master's degree in Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Bologna in March 2021, and my Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Catania in July 2018. 

From May to September 2025, I was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Economics at SOAS University of London .

My research interests are in macro-finance and financialization. Most of my projects are empirical and use long-run data, often informed by a political economy perspective.

Another area of my research looks at how inequality and climate change are related.
